Terms and Conditions

We understand how difficult it can be to choose your alternative hair and the importance of being able to return unsuitable orders.  As such we want to support you as best we can on your journey to ‘feel like yourself again’.

Conditions for Exchange or Store Credit

 In the interests of hygiene we ask that all wigs//hairpieces are tried on using a wig cap. We will not accept any wig that has been tried on without a hair net.

We accept returns under the following conditions.

  • Contact us immediately if you are unsatisfied with your item.
  • Item is returned within 14 days of receiving it.
  • Item must be unaltered, unworn, unwashed with the zig zag part not disrupted and in original packaging unaltered.
  • Please contact us first to initiate a return order before shipping any item and provide receipt or order number of purchase.
  • Eligible items will be valid for an exchange or store credit at the discretion of The Wig and I.
  • A restocking fee of 15% will be charged for any exchanges or store credit.

If 14 days have gone by since receiving your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. 

 

To be eligible for an exchange:

  • You must not have changed the parting, have brushed the hair, or styled it - any signs of wear and any signs of the item being in any condition other than it was shipped out - will be refused. We also reserve the right to reject a return if the item presents signs of wear – relatively easy to detect.
  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Products not returned within this time period, or without the tags attached and the original packaging materials, may be rejected and sent back to you at your expense.
  • It must be in the original packaging.
  • It must have tags attached as sent with inner wig box contents including packing as per sent.

Hair products utilise colour chart / colour swatches along with photos which may vary slightly from actual colours. Due to the digitising process and screen monitor displays the actual colour may differ slightly. Return of products due to these slight inconsistencies will also result in a 15% restocking fee of the total amount paid and postage at your expense.

 

Return Costs

All shipping costs involved in a return are your responsibility, unless we deem a fault or defect, upon which we will reimburse return costs, all returns (except faulty products) incur a 15% restocking fee.

A replacement or an exchange or store credit will occur after we receive the product(s) and approve either the sending of a replacement or an exchange or store credit.

Refunds

Please choose carefully as we only offer exchanges and store credit, we do not offer a refund, so bear that in mind when you order.

If you believe that the item is faulty, please contact us immediately at: info@thewigandi.com.au after receiving your delivery (no later than 14 days) if you do not contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, there is unfortunately nothing we can do.

Faulty/Defective Goods

We take great care in the dispatch and packaging of our product(s). In the unlikely event it/they arrive(s) in disrepair, be faulty or deemed not to have been produced in line with the agreed brief or specifications, or if you have received an incorrect product(s) please contact us at: info@thewigandi.com.au 

 If you notify us that you have received a faulty product(s), we will ask you to return the product(s) to us and once, acting reasonably, we have examined the product(s) and confirmed it is a faulty product(s), we reserve the right to replace the product(s) and refund your postage for return.

To accept returns due to faulty manufacturing we require all packaging materials and tags to be still attached. You must inform us of your intent to return your product(s) within 7 working days after taking delivery.

 To complete your return, please email info@thewigandi.com.au detailing your order number, the items you wish to return and further returns instructions will be provided. Returns must be sent to;

Exchanges/Faulty Items
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thewigandi.com.au and send your item to:

Shipping Costs
To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

INTERNATIONAL

The Wig and I is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or additional charges that may be charged by Customs for international deliveries.
